Storage Equipment. Underground Storage Tanks

Strommachina produces high-capacity storage tanks. We have a wide assortment of tanks made of carbon and stainless steel, titan, special steels, and coated alloys resistant to process fluids, acids, alkalis, aggressive liquids, and molten salts. Such tanks are used for storing environmental liquids like acids, alkalis, and solutions or storing and distribution of gaseous and liquid fossil fuels.

Underground Storage Tanks (UST)
Underground tanks are most commonly used for storing various fossil fuels, chemical industry products, reagents, and other liquids and gases.
In the vast majority of cases, the USTs are designed and fabricated based on the requirements specified in a contract. We strictly follow industrial standards and technological requirements when designing and fabricating a UST. In order to create ideal conditions for storing oil, a UST can be equipped with a heater. USTs are manufactured in two ways: USTs with heaters and USTs without heaters.
For each project we pick the most optimal fabricating method based on the properties of the environment.

Applications of USTs
Using USTs should be legally allowed and regulated by the EPA in the U.S. or by Rostechnadzor in Russia. In Russia, technical standards are specified in the document ТП70-1-164.83. In the U.S., refer to industry codes and standards for UST systems. In specific cases that require unconventional sizes of storage tanks, we can design and fabricate longer and wider tanks.

Underground Horizontal Storage Tanks with and Without Heaters
A UST is used for gathering waste of light and dark petroleum products, oils, water from technological pipelines, and other types of waste and byproducts generated by oil refineries and other oil processing facilities.
USTs can be customized and enhanced. Partial heating and additional technological equipment can be added on demand.
