Technological complex of blast-furnace slag grinding

Engineering process consists of the following operations:

 – material dosing;
– initially material grinding;
– Blast-furnace slag drying;
– finished product delivery to warehouse.

Material characteristics:

  • Fraction composition of initial material – up to 40 mm;
  • Initial material moisture – not more than 1%;
  • Initial material hardness up to 400 Pa;
  • Line capacity – 15 ton per hour;*
  • Line dimensions (length х width), m. – 25х10;
  • Total consumed power - up to 330 kW/hour.

* Capacity of technological complex depends on initial material hardness.

When choosing the equipment (grinding equipment) for material grinding the following shall be considered: hardness, size of initial fraction and grinding fineness.

  • Raw material hopper (volume - 20 m3)
  • Parallel-slide valve (type of drive - manual)
  • Belt conveyor -  2 sets
  • Ball mill 1456 А with grinding bodies set
  • Screw conveyor
  • Belt elevator ELG-320, height - 20 m.
  • Cyclone  CN15.700*2UP
  • Sleeve filter SFR 135
  • Screw conveyor
  • Draught machine VDN-10 (30kW,1500rpm)
  • Silo with systems: aeration; aspiration; level and discharge control to motor transport (screw), V – 50 m3

Delivery set varies as well as the lengths of transporting equipment are recalculated depending on targets set by the customer and territorial conditions for placing the technological complex.
