Separator Р296 is a separate classifying complex consisting of the separator, the electrical equipment, the multicyclone assembly of 4 cyclones with a diameter of 1,200 mm each and the exhauster ДН17.
The separator is designed to separate finished mineral material from the air stream. The separator refers to the group of combined ones, those in which the material is separated into fractions by centrifugal force of the horizontal air flow generated by the fan mounted outside the separator.
The separator consists of the rotor assembled, the separation chamber, the chambers of the grit and the final product output.
Feedstocks through the rotor spout by the centrifugal force fall into the annular space between the basket and the separation chamber vanes. Under the action of the forces supplied through tangentially mounted to the separation chamber tubes, vortex flow power generated by the rotor and the particle weight force, material moves down along spirally trajectory. In this case as the distance from point of loading increases and the grits output chamber approaches, there is a reduction of the material thickness, which promotes more complete removal from it inside the rotor of fine particles more exposed to supplied air pressure. The remaining large particles, under the influence of gravitational forces, fall down, enter the output chamber and further removed from the separator through the sluice gate.
Finished separated material is removed from the separator in the form of the air-and-coal mixture to the cyclones where they precipitate. The purified in the cyclones air is re-directed to the separator by the fan through the duct system.
