Roller mill of coarse grinding
About a roller mill
A roller mill of coarse grinding is designed for non-flammable and inexplosive materials grinding, such as barite grinding, talc grinding, limestone grinding, glass grinding, marble fining, and other similar materials grinding and fining. The roller mill grinds soft minerals and materials of medium hardness (not above 7.0 of Moh`s hardness). Also, such vertical mill is designed to grind materials with a moisture rate of not more than 6%. The grinder is widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical, construction, and other industries.
The raw material is loaded into the vertical roller mill storage tank uniformly and continuously. Under the centrifugal force, the shaft moves aside and is forced against the ring. The loaded material gets into the space between the mill`s shaft and the ring. Afterwards, the material gets grinded under the rotary shaft action. After getting grinded inside of the grinding unit, the fined material gets transferred into a classifier. The coarse particles return back for regrinding until the fine material of desired size is received. As for the fine grinded fractions, they flow into a cyclone an get unloaded through a discharge chute as a finished good.
