Drilling Cuttings Recycling Machinery Specification
Drilling processes are naturally associated with generation of a large amount of waste. The waste drilling fluids produced as a result of well drilling are fed to centrifuge with chemical enhancement unit. Two phases are formed at the output — liquid and solid. They are traditionally sent with drilling cuttings to landfills — burial sites. Such a philosophy has ingrained in technology of subsoil user industry and will probably exist for many more years. However, recycling of drilling cuttings as a promising and profitable process is increasingly attractive to producer companies. As new drilling cuttings recycling technologies develop, a new stage in the subsoil use history may begin.
This system is designed for thermal recycling of drilling cuttings using processes of drying and baking of civil construction rocks. This technology has been in use at Samara plant Strommashina for over 50 years. Supplies of equipment for recycling cuttings began about 5 years ago. Over the past time some precise analytical data has been obtained — the payback period is 2 to 3 years, depending on the process system level.
